Two acts straight from Wollongong to show you how they do it down south! Private Wives is a three-piece all-girl riotous punk act - you know the drill, the drum fill, the chanty-shouted vocals, the riffs... all of which get stuck in your head for days after. They do it with panache. Chimers we've written about many times on this guide - we love them, they're great, you need to see them. New single "Generator" dropping January 13! Go for it.

Lincoln's Gold are finally being excommunicated from our otherwise pure and well-behaved music scene. Witness the group's final ever show.

Free front bar show with Canberra via Wollongong via Brisbane (it's complicated) indie-punk darlings signed to Domestic La La. Great fun.

Chapter Records is a label synonymous with taste. Based out of Melbourne for most of its waking life, it's associated with acts like Crayon Fields, Dick Diver, Twerps, The Goon Sax to name just a tiny number. The Cannanes were slated for this show but sadly have to pull out for pandemic reasons. Guy Blackman (label head, solo songwriter and former member of Minimum Chips) will be playing solo instead! Also joining is fellow (but much more recent) label signees Thibault, which is led by Nicole (also from Minimum Chips). NB: it runs late, music starts at 10pm.

Solo project of Gus McGrath, originally from Canberra. An abrasive in-your-face mix of crunchy club music, distorted shouted vocals and autotune, all peppered with some great synth hooks. At the Vic, I reckon things are going to get sweaty. Gus is in the new band Perfect Actress with Marcus Whale and couple of other Sydney legends.

Free front bar show. If you haven't seen ARSE, go see ARSE. If you have seen ARSE, you don't need any further encouragement and you'll already have marked it. Three piece yob-punk from the excellent GRUPO family ft. Dan Cunningham (Parades, Polish Club) and Jono Boulet (Party Dozen)
