SIMA Jazz: NOW fest triple bill

SIMA = Sydney Improvised Music Association. Line-up featuring noted pianist Mike Nock, a three-piece ensemble led by Freyja Garbett, and BELIEVE: I saw their debut performance last week and they absolutely blew the roof off Church St Studios. BELIEVE have Laurence Pike (of PVT / Szun Waves / Triosk / Liars) providing his distinct style on the kit, with a quartet that under no circumstances lets themselves be overshadowed by Loz's broad range of experience and reputation.
