New project by Alex Crowfoot from long running Sydney electronic duo ollo. Self-described comparisons: Grizzly Bear, Stereolab, David Sylvian, late period Talk Talk. Inga Lileström is a name we haven't heard in these parts in a long while, a singer-songwriter that came up amidst a very dynamic time in Sydney's music community in the mid- to late-2000s, with a number of releases on Groovescooter Records.

So we have a THIRTY FIVE DOLLAR show taking place at the diminutive Factory Fusebox, and the ticket page has "enter one of the codes into the promo box to support that artist". We badly need to do some work on the economics of live music if this is considered to be a normal way to put on shows featuring relatively new bands that are still becoming established. Do better, Sydney. Do better, Century Venues. Let's see some creativity rather than just jacking up the door prices.

Fabels are dope. RIYL if you like HTRK, or maybe imagine a Beach House that's spookier and witchier. Scattered Order are Sydney post-punk legends, formed in 1979.
