Bat & Ball Grand Re-opening

The classic Bat & Ball in Redfern has been closed for a while, but for the last while it's been being renovated by a collective of alumni from the likes of the Golden Gully in Leichhardt, BTB in Kirribilli, Doom Juice and The Sunshine Inn in Redfern. They tell us that they've got plans cooking for music in the space - and vinyl DJs will be a regular on Fridays and Saturdays, open until 2am. This opening event doesn't feature live music, but we figured you might want to keep tabs on the space all the same.
We still need a little help getting over the finish line
Despite being slated for shutdown on the 13th of July, 2025, we continue to have ongoing costs to maintain this resource for the remainder of its lifetime while we figure out a transition plan.
