EP launch for “Tri State Scumbag”

For those new here, EMOM is an initiative to encourage community within the electronic music community of Sydney. Artists are invited to come down and share new ideas and compositions with a 15-minute slot.

Presented by CG Discs and Jazz Doof, featuring “12-piece Budapest funk orchestra Hakumba, on their debut Australian tour”, supported by local “jazz(ish)” (their parentheses) improvisational funk-leaning octet Seen Herbivore. People of taste, people that love to dance, at a really sick warehouse that hosts a ton of great stuff. Hat tip to this bunch.

Back for 2026! EMOM is a community event offering “a stage for electronic music creators of all levels ... [aiming] to foster a sense of community.” Performers have 15 minutes to “present music, talk about production techniques, demonstrate a favourite piece of gear: whatever they think might be interesting.”
