Dean writes in: "Puketiro Superhero is Fi who also plays in a great band from Palmerston North called SODA BOYZ who have toured here before, plus a collection of multi-instrumentalists on the album. On tour it's a duo with the band filled out with local musicians in each city. The Sydney version will be with me, Josh and Nick (so members of Ted Danson With Wolves, Bract, Potential, Arafura, PURE MASS and more). It's the end of their "low key world tour" which has also seen shows in the UK, Japan and South Korea." DM a band for address.

To get the address, ask around. You know, DM an artist or something. Possibly my favourite DIY space, every show I've seen here has been incredible. This one's a heckuva lineup.

This week of the ongoing Vitalise series runs a little earlier with a mellow line-up: a gorgeous selection of ambient and slow burn electronic music, co-ordinated by Danny Wild (Low Flung) and the Campsie Centre For Electronic Research, and hosted in the incredible upstairs DIY warehouse space that is now known as Fatamorgana. This week's workshop will feature a demo of OTIS' "Love Beams" effects pedal - an incredible multi-mode delay unit that packs an unbelievable number of functions into its little metal box.

💥💥💥 Um. Shit. So. This is an incredible lineup, in the most gorgeous space that no-one knows about - an upstairs loft-ish room above a mechanics' garage. I've been here once and it was the most incredible warm vibe of strength and supportiveness, just fucking "be exactly who you are". That was when "The Altar" were operating in there. I'm not sure who has put on this gig but basically, I have a sense that this will be a really incredible vibe. If you want to feel connected to beautiful people that aren't afraid to get really fucking loud and - no, I said REALLY fucking LOUD - ... do this. Potential and Chimers rule. It's a clear-cut winner. Do it. Go on, do it.

Incredible lineup of local experimental music with Cheflee (from Toro y Moi’s band) topping the bill. Location is a great warehouse space - you’ll see the address when you hit “Add to Calendar” just above. Doors at 4pm, entry via alleyway next to the post office.
