First ever show for Steroid! This will be a wild night at the Enmore Hotel featuring Nashville’s Snõõper, who last night blew the roof off an excellently attended Oxford Art Factory, with an incredible local support roster in tow (a sidebar from last night: R.M.F.C and Carnations are rapidly becoming two of my favourite acts to see live, and they absolutely scorched in a room like that.) And now, here’s the opposite end of the spectrum: demonstrating this post-hardcore band’s clear connection to and affection for some of Sydney’s absolute best, in a classic Aussie front bar pub setting. This will be a moment. They’re supported by Shogun’s (Royal Headache) relatively recently formed band Antenna, who are absolutely incredible. And once again - a first-ever set from Steroid which I know nothing about, but being connected to the Freakbeat/Studio 178 expanded universe can only indicate that it’s going to absolutely rule. Make this show part of your night. Bands usually start at 9pm, but times can vary.
